Re-Certified AJAX/Mallory (<3%) Blue Molded 0.082uF 100V Radial Capacitors (x2)

These are some really unique finds, ones I have rarely seen offered for sale on EBay. They are AJAX Blue Molded, but instead of being axial (like most you see), these are radial designs! Their performance is excellent. ESR readings are very stable and consistent between the two units. If they seem high, remember the capacitance is only 0.082uF. Q-Factors are very good, both capacitors never go below 224. Capacitance accuracy is well within the 10% spec, one is under 1% and the other is under 3% deviation. The I/V curve here is hard to see clearly because the capacitance value is so low. Once you get below about 0.1uF, it becomes hard to clearly show it without skewing it. However you can still see the ellipse and they both look good. 

Leakage current can’t be properly obtained, due to the limits of 100V test voltages and the UT511. I can tell you the leakage is no more than 0.33 uA, since we know the IR was > 299 MΩ.

Get that great AJAX Blue Molded sound in smaller package! You could almost call these a matched pair, if you were solely talking about their I/V characteristics. Compare the two curves shown, as well as the ESR values.

Valid Reasons for Returning:

Capacitance is off by more than 10-20% (or whatever the cap spec is)
ESR is at least 20% higher that I reported, remembering to use the same test frequency and a calibrated meter.
Capacitor was damaged during shipping.
Capacitor won’t fit into your location.
You bought a voltage or capacitance value that you can’t use, assuming you didn’t install it, you can return it.
You experience any audible distortion with your new capacitor, I’ll let you swap it or return it. As long as the cap isn’t damaged (electrically) when I get it back.
