RIFA was a company originally established in Sweden, during 1942. They made electronic components that were used in Swedish radios during World War II. In 1988 they became part of a joint venture, between Ellemtel, Ericsson and Televerkt. RIFA then changed their name to EVOX RIFA in 1992. Then, in 2007, Kemet purchased EVOX RIFA, while retaining their namesake and model numbers. Note: now Yageo owns Kemet (as well as all the companies Kemet owned; see Kemet page for list).
