To my surprise someone donated a Sansui AU-517 to me for free, thanks again for that! Here we have a stereo amplifier that weighs in at 40lbs! This behemoth is highly regarded in the vintage audiophile communities, with many of these bringing $100-$200 broken! I am looking forward to giving this baby a run with my ES9038Pro DAC (see other posts). Here are few shots for now! One other funny note of interest is that this amp was found laying waiting to go into a trash compactor when my friend found it! Thanks to having the complete service manual for this and the AU-717, I should have this singing in no time. Although this will not be a primary concern right now as I have to  focus on the ES9038 DAC along with the Burson Audio and Orange Amplification reviews. I am only waiting for two transformers and that build will be ready for the enclosure!
